Honoring the life of Kimberly Maria Johnson whom passed from this life, Saturday, February 26, 2011 at the Mountain Vista Hospital in Apache Junction, Arizona. Kimberly was born to Sandra and Samuel Johnson Jr. in Whiteriver, Arizona on April 24, 1969. She was 41 years old. She graduated with honors at Alchesay High School in May of 1988. She then attended Northern Pioneer College off and on from 1988 to 1993. She had set a goal towards the Medical Records profession and skills of computer entry data. She worked with the U.S. Census as an Enumerator. Her hobbies were playing the piano, singing, listening to music of all variations (Reggae music which was her favorite). She enjoyed cosmetic and hair styling, sculpting, nails and cooking (she made the best Apache tortillas). She grew up in Idaho Falls, Idaho but resided in McNary for many years and returned to Cibecue her home town. She had the opportunity to travel to Jamaica and various cities. Kimberly is survived by her only son, Jathain Chadlin Henry; 1 grandson, Carlos Johnson; her mother, Sandra P. Altaha; sister, Samantha Johnson; brothers, Alias Johnson, Donovan Johnson, Shawn Cooya; Grandmother, Pastor Eunice Tessler; nieces, Alyssa Johnson, Kandle Diamond Johnson, Terilynn Sedillo; nephews, Dominique Lawson, Duwon Hardrick, Sergio Johnson, Nashawn Cooya, JaQwon Lupe, Ethan Lupe. She was preceded in death by her father, Samuel Johnson, Jr. A wake will begin 10:00 A.M. Thursday, March 3, 2011 at the family residence on North River Road in Cibecue. The funeral service will begin at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, March 5, 2011 at the Cibecue Pentecostal Church. Burial will be at the Shadow Mountain Cemetery in Cibecue. Owens Livingston Mortuary of Show Low handled the arrangements.
