Jerome Kasey, Jr.

Jerome Kasey Jr. "J Bar", of Whiteriver, passed away February 21, 2011 in Globe. He was 45. Jerome was born June 20, 1965 in Whiteriver, Arizona to Jerome Kasey, Sr. and Marie (White) Kasey. Jerome loved the outdoors and spending time driving the back roads of the Reservation. He enjoyed cooking and being with his grandchildren. He was an avid Rodeo fan and participated in many Jackpot Ropings. He is survived by his 4 daughters, Kathy Kandy Kasey, Rose Marie Kasey, Jennifer Lynn Kasey, Rochelle Kasey; his 3 sons, Jerome Kasey III, Henry Colelay, Brandon Kasey; 7 grandchildren; 2 Godsons, Ethan and Eli Cosen; his companion, Joyce Cheney; parents, Slim and Marie Quay; 6 sisters, Marjorie (Robert) Romero, Genevieve (Ernie West) Lupe, Valerie (Raymond) Burnette, Vonda (Marcus Sr.) Bonito, Jodi Quay, Christine Smith and 2 brothers, Mark Quay and Linwood Lee. He was preceded in death by his father, Jerome Kasey, Sr., and Godson, Garrison George. A two night wake will begin 10:00AM Friday, February 25, 2011 at the family residence, 672 N. 2nd Ave., Whiteriver, Arizona. Funeral services will be held 1:00PM Sunday, February 27, 2011 at the Canyon Day Miracle Church in Canyon Day. Interment will follow in the Whiteriver Cemetery.
