Kellyn Jewel Penrod

Kellyn Jewel Penrod, age 42, passed away January 18, 2011 in Show Low, Arizona. She was born on February 13, 1968 in Glendale, Arizona to Donald Lee Tisdale and Vickie Mendenhall. On February 9, 1988 she married the love of her life, Derek Wade Penrod, and was blessed with two beautiful sons, Brock Mitchell Penrod and Jace Tavyn Penrod. Kellyn lived life to the fullest! During her youth, she was active in all school activities and was a cheerleader at Show Low High School. She loved to cook, sew, dance, listen to music and critique movies, but most of all, she treasured spending time and caring for "Her Boys", Derek, Brock and Tavyn. She was blessed with many friends and was very loved by all who knew her. Kellyn is survived by her loving husband, Derek Wade Penrod; sons, Brock Mitchell (Shelby) Penrod, Jace Tavyn Penrod; parents, Donald Lee Tisdale, Carlene Tisdale and Vickie Mendenhall; siblings, Darance Lewis, Deisha Lorene (Andy) Saul, Donald Lee (Cassandra) Tisdale, Jr. and Laurie (Dave) Nelson; parents-in-law, Lance H. and Phyllis Penrod, sisters-in-law, Kristie (Ed) Niece, Shellee Letcher, Lori (Anthony) Brown; brother-in-law, Bryan Lance Penrod; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends. A visitation will be held 11:00 A.M. Monday, January 24, 2011 at the Lakeside Stake Center of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 1520 Church Lane, Lakeside, Arizona. Funeral services will begin at 12 Noon Monday, January 24, 2011 at the same location. Burial will be at the Lakeside Cemetery.
