Alfred Phillip Cline

Loving father and grandfather, Alfred Phillip Cline, age 89, passed away Thursday, December 9, 2010 in Goodwater, Arizona. He was born July 24, 1921 in Sharon, Wisconsin to Phillip Alfred Cline and Lena Schmuck Cline. Alfred joined the military the day after Pearl Harbor was bombed. He served in World War II and Vietnam, spending more then 25 years in the Air Force, retiring as a Major. After his military career he served for many years in Northern Arizona as a missionary and Preacher. He is survived by his children: Cody Cline, Cougar Cline, Christine Parker, Sharon Grover, Rocky Cline, Cheyene Holberby, Howdy Cline; 10 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren; and a sister: Edna Wesson. Preceded in death by a son Woody Cline. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, December 15, 2010 at Noon at the First Assembly of God Church, 500 Mission Lane, Holbrook, Arizona with a visitation 1 hour prior to the funeral. Burial will be at the Holbrook Cemetery under the direction of Owens Livingston Mortuary of Holbrook.
