Jewel Estelle Semler

Jewel Estelle Semler died Tuesday evening, October 26, 2010 at Webb's Adult Care Home in Snowflake, Arizona from causes incident to her age. She was 95 years old. Jewel was born in San Francisco, San Francisco County, California to the late Ray Calvin and Georgia Betty (Wilson) White. As a young girl, Jewel moved to Wyoming where she received her education and was raised. In 1957, she moved back to California; making her home in San Jose. She was a devoted homemaker throughout her life. She lovingly cared for all the needs of her family and was happy to serve them, as she loved them all so very much. In 1996, Jewel moved to the White Mountains of Arizona from the Santa Cruz Mountains of California. She loved nature and enjoyed the beauty she found in all of God's creations. Jewel was a devout and faithful member of the Holy Roman Catholic Church and lived in several parishes over the years. "She had a good long life!" and this sweet lady will surely be missed. Jewel is survived by 1 son, Harvey Ray (Becky) Noble of Show Low, Arizona and by 1 grandson, Harvey Lee Noble of San Diego, California. She was preceded in death by her brother, Alvin White. Private family services will be cared for by Owens Livingston Mortuary - White Mountain Chapel in Show Low, Arizona.
