Dale Joseph Schmitz

Dale Joseph Schmitz, of Lakeside, died Tuesday evening, October 19, 2010 at Summit Healthcare Regional Medical Center in Show Low, Arizona following a brief illness. He was 67 years old. Dale was born on May 20, 1943 in Albuquerque, Bernalillo County, New Mexico to the late Gordianus Clarence (G.C.) "Bud" Schmitz and Ida Agnes (Huhn) Schmitz. Throughout his working career, Dale worked as a lumber yard foreman. A quiet man by nature, he found peace and solace in the beauty of the White Mountains. He has lived in Arizona the past 25 years. Dale is survived by his mother, Ida Schmitz; 2 brothers: David Schmitz, Duane (Elizabeth) Schmitz; 3 children: Elizabeth Servedeo, Devin Schmitz and Eric Schmitz. Private family services will be held at a later date in his native New Mexico.
