Alice "Miss Jayne" Cluff, 68, of Snowflake, Arizona died Saturday, October 16, 2010 after a hard fought battle with a brain tumor. Her loving husband and family were by her side. Jayne was born January 16, 1942 in Phoenix, Arizona to Mary Dorothy (Vesper) and the late Ira La Vaun "Happy" Woolsey. Jayne married the love of her life, Ralph Cluff on November 11, 1960. They were getting ready to celebrate 50 wonderful years of marriage. In 1979, the Cluff family moved to the White Mountains where they built their home. She was known by the community and its children as "Miss Jayne" because of her 33 years of dedication to driving a school bus. She loved the children and enjoyed supporting them in their many activities. Jayne was a loving daughter, wife, mother, grandmother and friend to many. She loved supporting her children and grandchildren in all of their many endeavors. She wouldn't miss one of her family's activities; not even a bowling game! She is survived by her loving husband of 50 years, Ralph Cluff of Snowflake, Arizona; 2 sons: Doug (Mary) Cluff of Chicago, Illinois, Scott (Alice) of Scottsdale, Arizona; 1 daughter, Allison Cluff of Taylor, Arizona; 10 grandchildren; 1 great-granddaughter; her loving mother, Mary Dorothy Woolsey, currently of Glendale, Arizona; 1 brother, Richard (Sue) Woolsey of Yorktown, Virginia; 2 sisters: Carolyn (Willis) Gibbons of Linden, Arizona and Gail (Roger) Sharp of Glendale, Arizona. She is also survived by a HUGE host of friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Ira "Happy" Woolsey. She loved life and enjoyed it to its fullest. She will be missed by all who associated with her. A public visitation will be held from 6-8 P.M. Friday, October 22, 2010 at Owens Livingston Mortuary - Heritage Chapel, 84 E. 19th S. in Snowflake, Arizona. Funeral services will begin at 10:00 A.M. Saturday, October 23, 2010 at the Snowflake Stake Center of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints at 175 W. 9th St. in Snowflake, Arizona, where an additional visitation will begin one hour prior. The concluding service and interment will follow at the R.V. "Mike" Ramsay Memorial Cemetery in Snowflake, Arizona where she will be laid to rest.
