She has many nieces, nephews and other relatives from the White Mountain and San Carlos Apache Tribes, Utah, Colorado, New Mexico and Oregon. Nadine worked many years as a teaching assistant at the Seven Mile Elementary School. She grew very fond of each student and missed working with them. She then moved on into the Customer Service field where she was employed at the Sunrise Ski Lodge as a Shift Manager in their restaurant. Her last employment was with the Hon Dah Casino in the Food and Beverage department. This is where she met many people whom became her good friends. Nadine's sense of humor was one of a kind. She and her children had their own way of joking. Laughter was always present in her home. She enjoyed going on car rides; whether it be in the mountains, to Cedar Creek, in town, or to California for her sons' important school events. Her closest friend, Leona Massey, and she shared non-stop laughter. She cherished each day spent with her. Many weekends were spent at her sister, Kandi's home, teaching Aliyah traditional cooking and ways. She had a deep love for Reggae music which was inspired by her companion. Nadine is loved tremendously loved by her family and will be greatly missed. However, as her son, Vinny, put it, "Don't cry because it's over, rather smile, because it happened." Nadine's body will be brought back to her father's, Kino Kane, residence for a two-day and night wake at 5204 N. 3rd Street in North Fork, Arizona 10:00 A.M., Friday, October 1, 2010. The funeral service will also be held at her father's home, 10:00 A.M., Sunday, October 3, 2010. Nadine will be laid to rest in upper Cedar Creek at the Red Cliff Cemetery. The family would, very much, like to thank-you for being a part of Nadine's life. Remember her by her constant smile.
