Orville Lyman Baird, of Cornville, Arizona passed away Friday, September 17, 2010 at his home. He was 73 years old. Orville was born September 10, 1937 in Winslow, Arizona to the late Albert and Gwendolyn (Bates) Baird. On September 10, 1959 he married the love of his life, Wanda Sue Russ in Miami, Arizona. They had 4 children together. During his younger years he was a cowboy for the Baird Ranch at Love Lake Road. Orville worked as a roofer for many years, but will be remembered most for his beautiful Artwork and his banjo music. He will be greatly missed by all. He is survived by his wife, Wanda; his 4 children: Deborah Mills (Bill), Danny Baird (Kannessa), Shannon Dawn Baird; 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren; 2 brothers; Paul Machula (Janet), Myron Machula (Dorothy). He was preceded in death by his son, William S. Baird; his parents. A visitation will be held Friday, September 24, 2010 from 6:00 - 8:00 P.M. at Owens Livingston Mortuary - Heritage Chapel 84 E. 19 S. Snowflake. Funeral services will be held 11:00 A.M., Saturday, September 25, 2010 at the Love Lake Chapel of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints with an additional visitation to be held 10:00 A.M. prior to the services. Interment will be at the Reed Hatch Memorial Cemetery in Taylor.
