Aaron Ritchie, 84 of Show Low, Arizona passed away on September 2, 2010. Aaron was born on October 4, 1925 in Duane (Hazard County), KY, the son of Caroline and Henry Ritchie. Aaron grew up in the frozen tundra of Wisconsin and in 1943, he enlisted in the Armed Forces. After boot camp and training, and serving in the Pacific during WWII, he was then stationed a Williams Field, Arizona. It was there that he met his wife of 59 years, Juanita Johnson, whom he married on March 10, 1951 and after traveling with the military for several years, returned to Phoenix to raise their family. He proudly served his country as a Navy Frogman during WWII, Army Airborne and retired as a Master Sergeant from the Air Force in 1981. Aaron was a fan of the Milwaukee Braves (currently Atlanta Braves). He was preceded in death by his son, Ronald Aaron Ritchie; parents; and 8 older brothers. Aaron is survived by his wife, Juanita; daughters, Alice and Valerie; and many extended family members.
