Donald Thomas Chartrand

Donald Thomas Chartrand, 56, passed away August 25, 2010, in Show Low, Arizona. He was born July 10, 1954, in St. Johns, Arizona to Lee and Barbara (Jones) Chartrand of Shumway, Arizona. He is survived by his parents, Lee and Barbara Chartrand; two brothers: Robert of Augusta, Georgia and Lloyd of Safford, Arizona; two sisters: his twin, Debra Goodman of Mesa, Arizona and Denise Perkins of Fountain Hills, Arizona. At an early age, Don and his family lived in Maverick, Arizona. He and his siblings attended school in Taylor/Snowflake. Don spent his life traveling and enjoying his life as he wanted; as a loyal and caring person, with friends wherever his travels took him. His lifelong friends, Bardell Perkins and Lou Shuggart, among others, were his family of his own choosing. His long-time partner in life, Kathy Alcantara and her daughter, Ashley, of Henderson, Nevada, were precious and dear to him and we know he will be with them always, as he will be in our hearts forever. Graveside services and burial will be held Sunday, August 29, 2010 at 10:00 A.M. at the Shumway Cemetery.
