Kiela Ann Sabir of Vernon, Arizona died suddenly on Monday, August 16, 2010 at Summit Healthcare Regional Medical Center in Show Low, Arizona. She was 24 years old. Kiela was born on January 21, 1986 in Torrance, Los Angeles County, California to her mother, Sheryl Ann Sabir. She moved to Arizona only 2 weeks ago from Las Vegas, Nevada where she worked as a merchandiser for Storcast's Las Vegas Division. Kiela was an extremely outgoing person and never met a stranger. Everyone who knew her loved her and was drawn to her warm personality and appreciated her zest for life. She truly lived life to its fullest and always had a good time. Kiela was a nature-girl and loved being in the great-out-of-doors. She enjoyed going on long or short hikes, camping in the woods, fishing with her family and friends and exilerating boat rides. Kiela always thought appearance was important. No matter what she was doing or where she was going, she always looked her best. Being the lady that she was, Kiela loved to dress up and, being ever conscience of the current trends and styles, she would regulary turn heads because she was such a beautiful person. Kiela had a special affinity and love for animals and children. Whatever the needs for them were, she was the first to volunteer and take care of them. This gem of an individual will be missed by her many friends but, none will miss her more than her own family. Kiela is survived by: her mother, Sheryl Ann Sabir of Vernon, Arizona; daughter: Kadejah Sabir of Lancaster, California; grandmother: Margaret Hatchard of Vernon, Arizona; brother: Robert Lanning of Bakersfield, California; sister: Blythe Lanning of Bakersfield, California; 3 uncles: Robert (Claudia) Williams of Springville, California, Ron Williams of Cochoran, California; Randy Williams of Los Angeles, California; 2 aunts: Ronda (Curt) Lanning of Bakersfield, California, Beckie Williams of Sacramento, California; nephew: Logan Lanning; and by several cousins, including: Kelle Logan, Meloney Switzer and Jacob Lanning. A special memorial service will begin 9:00 A.M., Sunday, August 22, 2010 at Woodland Lake Park in Lakeside, Arizona where, Chaplain Kevin Weaver will officiate. Kiela's family warmly expresses their gratitude and thanks to all who have remembered them during this trying time.
