Erick Steven Benally

Erick Steven Benally of McNary, Arizona passed away July 28, 2010 in Phoenix. Erick was born February 15, 1982 in Phoenix, Arizona to Guy and Mary Lou(Duryea) Benally. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and Erick loved the outdoors especially fishing. He loved to cook and even cooked for the Sunrise Hotel. He was the Dietary Aid for Infinia Assisted Living Center. Erick is survived by his companion, Joann Larzalere of Hon Dah Home Sites; father, Guy Benally of Hon Dah Home Sites; brothers, Mickey (Lee) Benally of McNary, Arizona and Ricky Benally of Provo, Utah; sisters; Lucy Benally of McNary, Arizona, Julie Kinney of Knotts Landing, Arizona and Joann (Robert) Lupe Sr., of Whiteriver, Arizona as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Lou Benally and a brother, Dean Benally. A 1 day wake will begin 10:00 A.M. Friday, August 6, 2010 at the family residence 1026 Powerline Rd., in Pinetop. Funeral services will begin 9:00 A.M. Saturday, August 7, 2010 at the Buck Springs Chapel of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints off of Buck Springs Road in Pinetop. Interment will follow at the Golden Gorge Cemetery in Diamond Creek, Arizona. Owens Livingston Mortuary of Show Low handled the arrangements.
