Hans Victor Hansen, age 26, passed away Wednesday, July 21, 2010 in Whiteriver, Arizona. He was born on March 9, 1984 in Show Low, Arizona to Don Leon, II and Susan Denise (Rupert) Hansen. Hans was a fabulous father to his little Shelby. Hans was the sweetest and most giving person. He was especially kind to anyone, and everyone, who needed help. "He was unique; he could have fun in a paper sack!" Curious by nature, Hans loved to know how things worked. He could take anything apart and put it back together, better, than it originally was. He loved dirt, both as a boy and as an adult; as he loved being in the great-out-of-doors. He served an honorable mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints to the Anchorage, Alaska Mission. He touched the lives of many during his time in Alaska. Hans will be deeply and greatly missed by all who knew him and loved him. He is survived by: his wife, Zhenya R. Hansen; a daughter, Shelby Hansen; and coming soon a son, Jason Hansen; his mom and dad: Don L. and Susan Hansen; mother and father-in-law, Diana L. and David M. Lucas; maternal grandmother; Mary C. Rupert; brothers: Josh (Donna) Hansen and Lonnie Hansen; aunts and uncles; James "Buck" (Jeannette) Hansen, Roger (Connie) Hansen, David (Mary) Hansen, Hans (Karen) Hansen, Beckie (John) Heffron. The visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M., Monday, July 26, 2010 at Owens Livingston Mortuary - White Mountain Chapel, 320 N. 9th Street in Show Low. The funeral service will begin 11:00 A.M., Tuesday, July 27, 2010 at the Pinetop-Lakeside Stake Center of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 1520 Church Lane in Lakeside, Arizona where additional visitation will begin at 9:30 A.M. The concluding service and interment will follow at the Lakeside Cemetery. The family has requested that contributions be made directly to them, to help them through this difficult time.
