Jarrod Sorenson died July 16, 2010, in Mesa. He was born in Phoenix Feb. 4, 1980, after his parents, who were speeding to the hospital, were pulled over by the police. Jarrod lived in "The Slope" Sunnyslope until the age of 12, then he moved to the White Mountains. He graduated from Blue Ridge High School in 1998. Jarrod began plumbing as a helper with Sears in 2000, worked for Church Plumbing and was a journeyman plumber with Clark Plumbing until May 30, 2008. Jarrod was playful; he loved goofing around, wrestling with the kids. His innate sense of humor allowed others to laugh at themselves through the stories he'd tell. He was a master at music, movies and sports trivia. He was one of the original WMB's. He touched people's hearts everywhere he went; practiced random acts of kindness and had a heart of acceptance and a free mind. "Family and friends alike, we will never be able to forget him." Jarrod is survived by his mother, Judy Sorenson; father, Danny Sorenson; grandmother, Catherine Sorenson; aunts, Bonnie Sorenson and Kim Howell; uncle, James Sorenson; siblings: Kyra Sorenson, Travis Sorenson, Amber Gardner; nephews: Tyler, Chase, Kolton, Gage, Aidan; nieces: Abrianna and Kaylee as well as extended family and friends.
