Wanda Telitha Locklear

Wanda Telitha Locklear died just as the sun was rising on Sunday, July 18, 2010 at her home in Overgaard, Arizona with her husband at her side. She was 89 years old. Wanda was born on June 22, 1921 in Comanche, Comanche County, Oklahoma to the late Grover and Effie (Royston) Huntley. Wanda moved to Arizona 4 years ago and was a loving and devoted homemaker to her family. Wanda loved the Lord and was very active in her Church. She and her husband, were Pastors in Texas and New Mexico. She loved to play the piano and the guitar. She is survived by: her husband, of 71 years, Adron Thomas "A.T." Locklear of Overgaard, Arizona; daughter: JoAnne (David) Garvin of Overgaard, Arizona; son: Tommy (Pat) Locklear of Corpus Christi, Texas; sister: Clemmie Bugg of Reno, Nevada; 5 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren and is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Along with her parents, Wanda was preceded in death by 4 brothers and 2 sisters. Private family services will be held, however, her family would like to "Thank" everyone for their expressions of sympathy through thought and deed.
