Chester Frank Adams

August 2, 1923 — June 20, 2010

Chester "Chet" Adams, died peacefully at his home while the irrigation was running, the hay was baled and in the barn, and the corn was three inches tall. He dedicated his time to serving in both the Mesa and the Snowflake Temples of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He fulfilled an honorable mission for his Church in London, England with his wife Clea. He actively served in his community as the President/Secretary of the Show Low Pinetop and Woodland Irrigation Company. Chester also served many years on the ASCS board. Thanks, Chet for your countless hours of unseen kindnesses and love to us all. Chester is survived by: his wife, Clea Adams; 4 children; Charlotte Broadbent (Eric), Beverly Welch (Thomas), Trent Adams (Caroline), Farrell Adams (Gina); 26 grandchildren; 67 great-grandchildren; 4 sisters: Mettie, Georgia, Shirley, Gladys; and his brother, Harvey. He is preceded in death by his parents; Frank and Christina Adams; 4 brothers: Leonard, Glen, Ross, John; 3 sisters: Jane, May and Alice. Chet's viewing will be held from 6:00-8:00 P.M. Thursday, June 24, 2010 at the Downtown Chapel of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints 318 N. 11th Street Show Low and 1 hour prior to services. Funeral services will be held 10:00 A.M. Friday, June 25, 2010 at the Show Low Stake Center of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints 1401 W. Deuce of Clubs. Interment will follow at the Show Low Cemetery.
