Robert Earl Myers, age 61, passed away Tuesday, June 15, 2010 in Holbrook, Arizona. Robert was a loving and kind man who loved life and enjoyed learning new things. He was a real clown who could make everyone smile. Robert served in the United States Army in Vietnam, earning a Bronze Star. He was a tailor and a good chef. He will be missed by his family and friends. Robert is survived by his wife, Carol Lee Myers of Holbrook; 3 children, Ekelius Myers of San Jose, CA, Myron Myers of Huntington Beach, CA and Mia Grady of Tyler, TX; 5 grandchildren; mother, Katie (Melvin) Hargrow of Holbrook; 3 brothers, Lester Myers of Phoenix, Freddie Myers of Holbrook and Quincy (Mary) Woods of Meryltain, CT; 2 sisters, Dorothy (Don) Jackson Smith of Las Vegas and Debra (Clarence) Holt of Holbrook; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Silas Myers. A viewing will be held Friday, June 25, 2010 from 6-8 PM at the Owens Livingston Mortuary 409 N. 1st Ave., Holbrook, AZ. Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 26, 2010 at 11:00 AM at the St. John's Baptist Church 803 Lewis Drive, Holbrook, AZ. Interment will be at the Holbrook Cemetery.
