Harold James McKinley

Harold James McKinley died Monday, June 14, 2010 at Bannon Springs in Vernon, Arizona following a lengthy illness. He was 68 years old. Harold was born on November 10, 1941 in Waterbury, New Haven County, Connecticut to the late William James and Dorothy (Cable) McKinley. He moved to Arizona in 1970 and began a long working career with The City of Phoenix as one of its maintenance men. Harold was a man who enjoyed listening to music, especially his country/western music. Harold also thoroughly enjoyed watching old western movies; a pastime he has enjoyed since he was a young man. Throughout his life he was a step-father to 7, a grandfather to 8 and a great-grandfather to 9. Harold is survived by his friends: Misty and Richard Pettit of Show Low, Arizona and Miranda and Amber Pettit, both of Show Low. Harold was preceded in death by his sweet wife, Barbara McKinley on June 28, 2009. Memorial services will be private.
