Rebecca Lee Cosay, of Cibecue, passed away May 14, 2010 at Tall Pines Nursing Home in Show Low. She was 42. Rebecca was born February 26, 1968 in Whiteriver to Van and Agnus (Cosen) Lee. Rebecca had a great sense of humor. She knew how to make everyone laugh. A very comforting person, she knew how to make everyone feel at peace. A great cook, she always made the best "Apache Tortillas" in her family. She was employed as a firefighter for the Bureau of Indian Affairs. Rebecca was a great woman, who will be missed by all. She is survived by 2 daughters, Shawnna Rustin of Whiteriver, Shaina Rustin of Cibecue; 3 sons, Eric Cosay of Whiteriver/Cibecue, Theron Cosay, Jr. of Whiteriver/Canyon Day/Cibecue, Darnell Ivins of Cibecue; grandchildren, Erin Cosay, Etaydrion Cosay, Maaliyah Tritt; mother, Agnus Cosen; 2 brothers, Jerry Lee and Bronson Lee, Sr.; 2 sisters, Brenda Gushoney and Saraphina Lee. Rebecca was preceded in death by father, Van Lee and brother, Ivan Lee. A 2 day wake will begin 10:00 A.M. Thursday, May 20, 2010 at the family residence #2 Rodeo Dr. in Cibecue. Funeral services will be held 1:00 P.M. Saturday, May 22, 2010 at the Cibecue Miracle Church with the burial follow at the Open Range Cemetery.
