Sandra Lee Loomis

Sandra Lee "Sandy" Loomis died suddenly at her home in Lakeside, Arizona on Monday, April 19, 2010. She was 46 years old. Sandy was born on September 10, 1963 in Roanoke, Roanoke County, Virginia to Eddie Ronald and Margaret (Sink)Palmer. She moved to Arizona about 32 years ago and graduated from Gilbert High School. Sandy moved to the White Mountains 28 years ago and has lived in the Show Low area ever since. She has been a faithful employee of Wal-Mart for the past 22 years, where she worked as one of their internal accountants. Sandy was an extremely quiet individual who enjoyed spending time with her family. She enjoyed the beauty of the outdoors and especially enjoyed planting flowers in her garden. Sandy will be missed by her family, friends and co-workers at Wal-Mart. Sandy is survived by: her husband, David Wayne Loomis of Lakeside, Arizona; parents: Eddie and Margaret Palmer of Chandler, Arizona; sister, Cindy Herst (Richard) of Lake Villa, Illinois; brother, Ron Palmer (Karin Harker) of Chandler, Arizona; sister-in-law, Cara Palmer of Chandler, Arizona, step-daughters: Alissa McCormack (Adam) of Vernon, Arizona, Beth Loomis of White Mountain Lake, Arizona; 2 nieces: Sierra Palmer and Savannah Palmer, both of Chandler, Arizona. A memorial service for Sandy will be held at 10:00 A.M. Saturday at Owens Livingston Mortuary - White Mountain Chapel, 320 N. 9th Street in Show Low, Arizona. Her family would like to thank everyone for their love and support.
