Richard Lewis Zubal

Richard Lewis Zubal died suddenly on Tuesday, July 21, 2009 at the Summit HealthCare Regional Medical Center in Show Low, AZ at the age of 76. Richard was born on February 23, 1933 in Johnstown, Pennsylvania to the late Peter and Mary (Gritzer) Zubal. Following his graduation from Ferndale High School in Ferndale, PA, Richard went to work for Bethlehem Steel until moving to Arizona in 1962. He then went to work in the mortgage and appraisal industry until his retirement. Richard is survived by 2 children: Robert "Bob" Zubal (Joanne) of Paradise Valley, AZ, Lynn Zubal of Sedona, AZ; former wife, Louise Zubal of Phoenix; nephew and niece: Tom Dutko (Maria) of Midland/Odessa, TX, Elaine Dutko of Johnstown, PA and his grandchildren. Along with his parents, Richard was preceded in death by his 3 brothers: John Zubal, Nick Zubal, Andy Zubal and by his sister, Mary Dutko. A graveside service will be held 3:00 PM October 9, 2009 at the Grandview Cemetery in Johnstown, Pennsylvania.
