Dennis Alan Yeager

Dennis Alan Yeager went to Jesus' arms November 14, 2008. He was born on Father's Day, June 17, 1973 in Page, Arizona. Dennis attended elementary school in Springerville and Vernon. He attended Show Low Jr. High and graduated from Show Low High in 1992. He was active in choir, football, baseball, basketball, track and wrestling. Later Dennis attended Northland Pioneer College and Mesa Community College. On September 12, 1998 he married the love of his life, Joelle. Dennis worked as a backhoe operator for Poteet Construction, Inc. Dennis is survived by his wife, Joelle; children, Justin, Shelby, Tyler, Jacob and Colten; his parents, David and Jennie Yeager; brothers, David of Missouri and Donovan of Flagstaff; sisters, Danielle (Jason) Slaughter of Bakersfield and Diane (Sean) West of Prescott; as well as many nephews and nieces. Dennis was a devoted and loving son, husband and father. Dennis enjoyed the outdoors, hunting and fishing. He loved God and his family. Dennis will be greatly missed. Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 P.M. Friday, November 21, 2008 at Owens Livingston Mortuary, 320 N. 9th Street in Show Low. The funeral service will be held at 10:00 A.M. Saturday, November 22nd at the High Country Church of Christ (across from the Show Low Airport on Highway 60), where additional visiation will begin 1 hour prior. Contributions, for his children, in the name of "The Dennis Yeager Family Trust" at National Bank of Arizona, where an account as been established, have been suggested by his family.
