Franklin Allan Yarrison, age 79, passed away Monday, December 29, 2008 in Flagstaff, Arizona. He was born March 1, 1929 in Loganton, PA to Charles Franklin Yarrison & Nettie Sabina Schrack. Franklin was a super dad who was very committed to his family and very devoted to his wife Florence; a great mentor to his grandchildren. He made arrowheads by hand. He was a mason; his handy work can be seen all over the White Mountains and Northern Arizona. He loved to hunt and fish; he made the best jerky and old fashioned fruit roll-ups. Franklin loved to work in his garden and yard. He could really "Shoot the Bull". He is survived by his wife, Florence; 4 children; Joseph Charles (Ginger) Yarrison, Nelson Blaine Yarrison, Nettie Louise Mordh, Irene Lynn Yarrison; 5 sisters; Millie McDuffee, Alice Rowe, Harriett Beiter, Katherine Stiver, Hilda Harbach; sister-in-law Louise (Ray) Gohl; 11 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be held Friday, January 2, 2009 at 11:00 AM at the Owens Livingston Mortuary, 409 N. 1st Ave., Holbrook, Arizona.
