Charles Ernest Wright, age 86, passed away Tuesday, June 03, 2008 in Snowflake, Arizona. Born August 28, 1921 in Santa Ana, California to George Ernest Wright and Ida Mary Poh. He married Jeanette Margaret Hannah on June 20, 1947. Charles was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He served in many capacities; including as a former Branch President, he served a Welfare Mission in Oregon, and Charles was "Camp Daddy" for 20 years for the Young Women at Girls Camp. He loved every one; especially children and they loved him. He was proud of his service in the United States Navy during WWII where he served on the Battleship Massachusetts. Charles was also an avid gardener. He is survived by wife, Jeanette; 3 children; Marcia (Tom) Goodin, Marilyn (Johny) Judd, C. Todd (Carolee) Wright; 12 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; 1 brother, Claude (Mary) Wright; 1 sister, Martha Ekwall; 1 sister-in-law; Freeda Wright. He is preceded in death by a granddaughter Krystal Goodin; his parents; 2 sisters and 4 brothers. Graveside services will be held Friday, June 6, 2008 at 11:00 AM Cemetery pending.
