Arvilla Woodward

Arvilla Woodward, age 92, passed away Saturday, February 17, 2007 at the RTA Hospice & Palliative Care Center in Lakeside, AZ. She was born in Safford where she grew up and attended school. She married Ben Lee when she was 16. Following a divorce, she met and married John S. Woodward in September of 1935. They lived in Safford before moving to Phoenix. In 1942 they moved to Encinitas, California. In 1949 their family moved to Englewood, Colorado where they lived before returning to California making their home in El Cajon. They moved to Show Low in 1970 where John worked for Eb Lewis at Cash & Carry. During the majority of her life, Mrs. Woodward was a homemaker. Mrs. Woodward is survived by her daughter, Betty L. Neal-Henneman of Oakhurst, CA; sons, Donald S. Woodward and Lloyd R. Woodward both of Show Low; sister, Raylene Boatman of Fontana, California; 10 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, February 20, 2007 at Owens Mortuary Chapel in Show Low. Interment will be in the Show Low Cemetery.
