Leona White

Leona White, age 76, passed away peacefully, Saturday, February 21, 2009 at Infinia of Show Low. Leona was born February 20, 1933. One of her favorite things to do was to sew. She loved going for walks, visiting friends and relatives, going to church in which she was a very active and devoted member. Leona is survived by her foster children; Charlotte Tessler, Leo Ray White, Darrell Toggie; 6 grandchildren, Elvina Lupe, Elina White, Leo H. White, Tyrone Sanchez, Hollie Sanchez and Reynaldi Suttle; 2 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews and extended family. She is preceded in death by her parents; god son, Jimmy Chino. A 2 day wake will begin 1:00 PM Thursday, February 26, 2009 at her residence, 6015 E. Fork Road in Upper East Fork. Funeral Services will be held 10:00 AM, Saturday, February 28, 2009 at the East Fork Lutheran Mission. Interment will be in the Dove Street Cemetery.
