Irene Anna Weiss

Irene Anna (Gerback) Weiss died Thursday, May 21, 2009 at the Summit Healthcare Regional Medical Center in Show Low, Arizona at the age of 81. Irene was born on April 18, 1928. She married Donald Arthur Weiss on January 7, 1955 just before moving to Arizona. They lived 20 years in Tucson and moved to Lakeside in 1975, where she has since resided. Mr. Weiss preceded her in death in 2001. Her passions included yard selling, reading, crafts and talking. She also enjoyed receiving frogs from her friends and family. Irene is survived by 2 sons: Alan Weiss (Debbie), Rusty Weiss; 2 daughters: Dorene Jennings (Mike), Cindy Pulda (Calvin); 9 grandchildren: Christa Vine (Billy), Jason Weiss, Brandon Weiss, Sara Weiss, Mitchell Jennings, Heather Jennings (Moe), Robert Rice (Sara) , Calvin Pulda, Jr. (Jennifer), Christopher Breu; 14 great-grandchildren; 2 sisters: Sharon Arenz (Dave), Joan Marasco; 1 brother: Johnny Gerback (Gloria)many nieces and nephews as well as her Walmart family and numerous friends. She is preceded in death by her husband, Donald Weiss; parents, Wesley and Elizabeth (Wilkins) Gerback as well as her brother, Lenny Gerback. A visitation will be held Friday, May 29, 2009 from 6-8 PM at Owens Livingston Mortuary-White Mountain Chapel, 320 N. 9th St., Show Low.
