Janet Watson lived life. A native of Arizona, she was born in Phoenix and spent her childhood years in Scottsdale. She married her high school sweetheart, Ronald Watson, who passed away September 8, 2004. Janet leaves behind four children, Danna, Randy, Joseph and Kaila Watson; five grandchildren, Rebecca, Tommy, Lexi, Matthew and Faith. She is also survived by her parents, Don and Cora Mae Meyers; siblings, Dallas, Denise and Mark. We will remember Janet as a determined young woman raising three young children while achieving her Bachelors of Science Degree in Nursing. She then provided care, encouragement, and support to patients and staff as was a stong advocate helping nursing students achieve their goals. Janet also loved camping, hunting and fishing with family and friends - and would often say "We had so much fun." In recent years, Janet suffered from multiple sclerosis and with determination and courage fought a brave battle to live her life as fully as she possibly could. Janet spent the last day of her life, determined to do what she loved best - She was with good friends, her beloved daughter, Kaila and her horse, Annie. She passed away on Independence Day on her way to the parade, living life. Janet, you will be greatly missed - you were brilliant, determined, an advocate, teacher and good student. You were a daughter, granddaughter, niece, sister, cousin, wife, mother, aunt, grandmother and a very good friend. You were an animal lover and fixer of people and things. You loved life - no regrets. Memorial Mass will be held at 10:30 A.M. Friday, August 1, 2008 at St. Mary of The Angels Catholic Church, 1915 S. Penrod Lane, Pinetop. Rosary will begin at 10:00 A.M.
