Carol Dawn Shelton

Dawn Shelton died Wednesday, April 1, 2009 at her home in Salt Lake City, Utah at the age of 50. She was born on July 1, 1958 in Silver City, New Mexico to Homer Lacy and Edna Lavonne (Thompson) Shelton. Dawn was a highly educated woman, receiving a Master's Degree in nursing at Brigham Young University and a Bachelor's Degree in education. She is survived by her parents; Lacy & Lavonne Shelton; 2 brothers, Kevin & Steven Shelton; 1 sister, Kristen Voorhies; 9 nieces and nephews. The visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Tuesday, April 7, 2009 at the Owens Livingston Mortuary - Heritage Chapel, 84 E. 19th South in Snowflake, Arizona. The funeral service will begin 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, April 8, 2009 at Snowflake's Historic Main Street Chapel of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Snowflake, Arizona with an additional visitation 1 hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at 2:00 PM (MST) in the Luna Cemetery - Luna, New Mexico .
