Darryl Mathew Ruckh

Darryl Mathew Ruckh, 49, died peacefully in his Lakeside home early Thursday morning September 20th 2007. Darryl was born April 13, 1958 in Dunkirk, New York. His family moved to Arizona in 1963. They settled in Cave Creek, where Darryl grew up and attended high school and was involved in team roping. Darryl then began framing roofs with all the new development and growth occurring in the valley. He later moved to Lakeside, AZ in 1992 where he continued building roofs. In 1999 he bought a boom truck and owned and operated Aries Crane Service for 7 years. He always had a smile on his face and worked very hard to succeed while earning the respect of many contractors. Darryl was known as "The Crane God" and he will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. Darryl is survived by his wife: Wendy Denise LaVoix-Ruckh, of Lakeside; sister: Wendy Kaye Palmer (Gary Lee Johnston), of Scottsdale; mother: Sharon Marleen Ruckh, of Phoenix; grandmother: Jessie May Gates, of Gerry, New York. He is preceded in death by father: Robert Orin Ruckh, (2006); grandfather: Stanley Edward Gates; grandparents: Orson Hoyt and Bertha Anna Ruckh. Services will be held 1:00 PM Thursday, September 27, 2007, at Owens Mortuary 320 N. 9th Street Show Low, Arizona. Interment will be at the Lakeside Cemetery
