David Lee Rosenau

February 21, 1948 — July 13, 2008

David L. Rosenau, age 60 died Sunday, July 13, 2008 at Summit healthcare Regional Medical Center in Show Low, Arizona. Dave was born February 21, 1948, in Mankato, MN to Russell and Norma (Chard) Rosenau. After high school, he married his high school sweetheart, Maureen (Micki) Hagen, in 1967. Dave sold insurance for AAL, and then decided to change careers and follow his dream to be a Pastor. After graduating from the WELS Seminary, his first call to serve the Lord was to St. Joseph, MI in 1983, he served there for 4 years, then in Toledo, OH for 11 years, then served as a pastor on a reservation in Cibecue, AZ for 8 years, before retiring due to health issues. Dave and Micki relocated to Show Low, where he continued to preach and fill-in wherever needed, up until the week before his passing. Dave is survived by his wife, Micki; daughter, Myra Jewell of Michigan; sons, David R. (Susan) Rosenau of Wisconsin, Peter (Jodi) Rosenau of Pennsylvania; 7 grandchildren; pare3nts, Russell & Norma Rosenau of Minnesota; brothers Chris (Connie) Rosenau of Georgia, Mark (Susan) Rosenau of Minnesota as well as many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. A visitation will be held from 6-8 PM Tuesday, July 15, 2008 at Owens Mortuary White Mountain Chapel, 320 N. 9th Street, Show Low. Funeral services will be held 10:00 AM, Wednesday July 16, 2008 at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 4839 Vallery Lane, Lakeside, AZ, with an additional visitation 1 hour prior. Interment will be at the Show Low Cemetery. Donations may be made in Memory of David Rosenau to Immanuel Lutheran Church, 4839 Vallery Lane, Lakeside, Arizona 85929, of to The National Rifle Association, by contacting nra.org.
