June Marie Riley, of Rainbow City, passed away Wednesday, February 24, 2010 in Payson. She was 62. June was born June 3, 1947 in Whiteriver, AZ to the late Robert, Sr. and Cora (Johnson) Peaches. A beloved homemaker, she loved her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was even considered a grandmother to all who knew her. She was a devoted Phoenix Suns fan and tried to never miss a game while on T.V. June also loved to gamble, do beadwork and tend to her plants. She is survived by her sons, Anthony L. Riley of Rainbow City, Fitzgerald R. (Debrah) Riley of Canyon Day, Sergeant Robert W. (Buffy) Nash of Germany; daughter, Felicia R. Riley of North Carolina; 23 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; foster mother, Freda Ethelbah of Over The Rainbow; brothers, Robert Peaches, Jr. and Rudy Ethelbah of Rainbow City; sisters, Corinda Manuel of Whiteriver, Rena (Tommy, Sr.) Billy of Rainbow City, Etheline (Gregory) Kinney of Over The Rainbow; aunts, Charlene Lupe and Eugina Riley of Whiteriver; uncle, Woodrow Peaches of Whiteriver as well as many nieces, nephews and extended family members and friends. She was preceded in death by a son, Daryle Riley; daughters, Rebecca Nash and Rachel Peaches; sister, Vina Cassadore and a nephew, Larolb Billy. A one night wake will begin 10:00AM Friday, March 5, 2010 at her home, 501 W. Larzalere St. #7, Rainbow City, AZ. Funeral services will be held 1:00PM Saturday, March 6, 2010 at the Open Bible Lutheran Church in Whiteriver, AZ. Interment will follow in the Whiteriver Cemetery.
