H. Kim Rapier, age 48, passed away October 1, 2006. He was born in Phoenix July 17, 1958. He grew up in Taylor and attended school in Taylor and Snowflake. As a young man he liked to ride quads and bulls. He always had time to go fishing but rarely had time for his homework. He joined the Marine Corp as a young man and after his time in the service, he began his career in construction. He was a concrete finisher. To escape the pressures of work, he loved to spend time in the outdoors, fishing and camping. Everyone who knew Kim knew him as a Jack-of-All-Trades. He used his many talents and abilities in construction to help his family and friends. He spent the last 25 years living in Queen Valley. He will be missed dearly. Kim is survived by his wife, Sharon; 3 children, Rusty, Wesley, and Mary; 6 grandchildren; his parents, Carol and Terry Holladay, a brother, Brett Rapier and a sister, Kelly Despain and lots of cousins. He was preceded in death by 2 children, James and Chris. Services have been held. Owens Mortuary of Snowflake handled arrangements.
