Robert "Bob" Richard Prikosovits also known as "Papa", "Cowboy Bob", "Perky" and "Slim", age 60 died November 18, 2009 at his home in Show Low, AZ of natural causes. Bob was born may 17, 1949 in South Bend, IN, moved to Phoenix, AZ at a young age and attended Coronado High School in Scottsdale, AZ. Bob enlisted in the Army and had a tour in Vietnam in 1969-1970 I the 1st Infantry. Bob received the Purple Heart while in Vietnam. Bob also spent some time in the Navy Seabees. He resided in Vernon, AZ for approximately 20 years. He is survived by his children Rob Prikosovits (J. Lynne) and Tina Walas (Steve) and his sister Lisa Lahet (Brad). He is further survived by his grandchildren, Camille and Dean Prikosovits, Gabriel and Tobias Walas and nieces Allison and Maggie Lahet. Bob enjoyed living in the White Mountains and spending time with his dog "Blue". Bob belonged to the White Mountain Old West Shootist group, he was an active member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, and enjoyed attending shooting matches. Bob also had a love for old western style photography and was quite a good artist but he mostly enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and family. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Graveside services will be held Friday, November 27, 2009 at the Vernon Cemetery followed by a celebration of his life at the VFW in Show Low.
