Clara Loretta Pooley, age 88, born in Lower Greasewood, Arizona, December 24, 1918, passed away June 5, 2007, in Gilbert Arizona. She was a homemaker and made Kachina dolls all of her life. Clara loved her family. She joined The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in 1948 and has been an active member ever since that time. Clara is survived by her children; 3 daughters, Grace Pooley of Gilbert, Arizona, Esther Stant of Holbrook, Arizona, and Vivien (Gene) Luikart of Provo, Utah; 4 sons, Raymond (Lillie) Pooley of Tuba City, Arizona, Albert (Julia) Pooley of Mesa, Arizona, George Pooley of Canada, B.C., and LeRoy (Yolanda) Pooley of Avondale, Arizona; along with 28 grandchildren; 39 great-grandchildren; 2 sisters; and 1 brother. Clara is preceded in death by her husband, Emil Pooley; her parents; 5 brothers; and her son-in-law, MacArthur Stant. Funeral services will be Saturday June 9, 2007 at 11:00 am daylight savings time (10:00 Arizona time) at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Lower Greasewood Arizona with a visitation ½ hour prior to the service. Interment will be at the family plot in Lower Greasewood, Arizona.
