Kevin James Penrod

Kevin James "K-Dawg" Penrod, 23, of Show Low, passed away Sunday, June 24, 2007 in Flagstaff. Kevin a restaurant supervisor for Hilton hotels was born on September 10, 1983 in Show Low. He grew up and attended school in Lakeside at Blue Ridge High School and graduated from Show Low High School in 2002. Following school he worked for Pat's Place before taking his job with The Hilton in 2003. Kevin was a natural born artist. He liked to collect things that he would find along the road, referring to them as his "Highway Treasures". Kevin loved spending time with his nieces and nephews. He loved people and had a special relationship with his Grandpa. He is survived by his parents, Ed & Kristie Neese of Show Low; fiancé, Chelsea Davis of Mesa; sister, Jennifer Plympton of Pinetop; brother, Christopher (Tessa) Neese of Show Low; step-brother, Justin Neese of Show Low; maternal grandparents, Lance & Phyllis Penrod of Pinetop; grandparents, Ed & Jackie Neese of Davenport, Iowa; 4 nephews, 2 nieces, many aunts, uncles and cousins. He is loved and will be missed by his many, many friends. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, June 30, 2007 at the Lakeside Stake Center of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. A visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 P.M. Friday evening at Owens Mortuary, 320 N. 9th Street in Show Low and one hour prior to services Saturday morning at the church. Interment will be in the Lakeside Cemetery.
