H. Dorothea Pardo died Saturday, May 24, 2008 at Bannon Springs Ranch in Vernon, Arizona following a lengthy illness. She was 73 years old. For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whoever believes in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life. (John 3:16) Dorothea entered into this promise and now spends eternity worshipping her Lord and Savior. Dorothea was born on March 25, 1935 in Farmland, Indiana to the late Lawrence Cassius "Cash" and Olive Opal (Warren) Fouts. She was a former resident of Richmond, Indiana and graduated from Richmond High School in 1953. She moved to Arizona in 1958 from California. Dorothea worked as a banking supervisor for many years before her retirement. She is survived by: her husband of 53 years, Anthony J. "Andy" Pardo, Jr. of Show Low, Arizona; son, Anthony J. Pardo, III of Cottonwood, Arizona; 3 brothers: Joseph Fouts of Richmond, Indiana, Wilbur Fouts of Phoenix, Arizona, Wayne Fouts (Alma) of Xenia, Ohio; 2 sisters: Martha Cordell of Bloomington, Indiana, Elouise Gray of Orange, California; and numerous nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be held 10:30 A.M., Monday June 2, 2008, at the White Mountain Bible Church 3171 Show Low Lake Road, Show Low, Arizona. Inurnment will be at the Show Low Cemetery.
