Wanda Mae Miller

Wanda Mae Miller, of Joseph City, Arizona, died Saturday, December 22, 2007 at The Carriage House in Snowflake at the age of 82. She was born on August 28, 1925, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, to the late Charles Orley and Margaret Mabel (Kirk) Morris. She married Carl Louis Smith, however, he preceded her in death in 1981. Wanda later married Leon C. Miller and in 1991, moved to Joseph City, AZ where they have since resided. Wanda is survived by her husband, Leon C. Miller of Joseph City, AZ; son, Daniel Smith (Leslie) of Salt Lake City, UT; daughters: Carla Kline of Victorville, CA, Michele Smith of Victorville, CA; step-daughters: Linda Hartman (William) of Smithville, UT, Colleen Jones (Kenneth) of Snowflake, AZ, Phyllis Minyard (Richard) of Apache Junction, AZ, Nancy Palmer (Glen) of Pleasant Grove, UT, Martha Dayton (Lynn) of Snowflake, AZ; step-son, Kevin Miller (LuAnne) of Delta, UT; sister, Bettie Scheumack of Upland, CA; 27 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. She also was preceded in death by: her brother, Harold T. "Bud" Morris; sisters: Bernice "Bernie" Tabor, Lydia Lorraine Rogers, Faye Ray, Thelma Oxford, Bonita Sherrell and Lucille Simons. Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 P.M., Sunday, December 30, 2007 at Owens Mortuary - Heritage Chapel, 84 East 19th South in Snowflake, AZ. The funeral service is scheduled for 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, January 2, 2008 at the Chino Wards Chapel, of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 4321 Philadelphia Street in Chino, California with visitation begining one hour prior to services. She will be laid to rest next to her first husband, Carl, at the Pomona City Cemetery in Pomona, California.
