Kenneth George McLaughlin

Kenneth George McLaughlin, age 79, entered eternal rest September 16, 2008 in Lakeside, Arizona. Kenneth was born June 9, 1929 in Sibley, Iowa. On July 11, 1947 Kenneth married the love of his life, Darlene Joy Benson, in Rock Island, Illinois. He was a volunteer for the meals on wheels and a member of the Gold Club here in the White Mountains. Kenneth could not sit still for anything and after retiring from the construction industry, he began sharpening knives and tools, free of charge, for local churches, senior centers and charities. He is survived by his wife of 61years, Darlene McLaughlin of Lakeside, AZ; daughter, Rebecca "Becky" Lutz of Show Low, AZ; grandchildren, Jennie (Eric) Peterson, Bill (Shawn) McLaughlin, James McLaughlin, Edward (Jody) Corona, Mary McLaughlin, Raynette Cox, Kenny Cox; great-grandchildren, Elora, Jessica, Taylor, Austin, James, Sessalina. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Emma-LeAnn in 1978. Private Services are planned.
