Norman McGee

January 2, 1931 — November 6, 2006

Norman Lewis McGee, age 75, passed away November 6, 2006 at his home in Taylor. He was born in Tucson, AZ to Napolean "Empy" and Mildred "Mamie" McGee. He was raised on the McGee Ranch in Sahuarita and he also raised his family there. He was a carpenter throughout his life but he later started working in construction and worked in several places in Arizona and California. He moved to Taylor in 2001 from Tucson. He and his wife recently returned from a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the Peoria Illinois Mission. The last few months he enjoyed having his family around. Norman is survived by his wife, Donna of Taylor; 6 daughters, Lorie Jean (David) Haymore and Kellie Ann Busby both of Taylor, Jacquelyn (Jeffrey) Kilpatrick of Monterey, CA, Carrie Jo Liddell of Prescott Valley, Tracy Lane Osborn of Taylor, and Toni Kay (Peter Scott) Bell of Panama City, FL; 3 sons, Randy Eugene (Merlyn) and Rance Wade (Kathy) both of Taylor and Jared Lee (Amanda) of Tucson; one brother Jerry (Doris Jane) of Sahuarita; 3 sisters, Joann (Gale) Bell, Margaret (Bob) Elam and Diann (John) Trowbridge all of Sahuarita; 29 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren with one on the way. He was preceded in death by 2 sons, Patrick Kim and Dana Royce. Funeral services will be held Wednesday November 8th at l0:00 A.M. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Taylor Stake Center. Interment will follow in the Reed Hatch Memorial Cemetery in Taylor. Owens Mortuary of Snowflake handled arrangements.
