Myrtle Mills Loveless

December 3, 1919 — July 4, 2007

Myrtle Mills Loveless, age 87, of Taylor passed away July 4, 2007 at her son's home in Taylor. She was a native to this area, having been born and raised in Show Low. She lost her father when she was two years old and her mother when she was nine years old. Her uncle Leroy Jacobson took her and her two sisters to raise after the death of her parents. She owned and operated a family business called the Snack and Yak Café which later became Show Low Flower Shop. She spent many years serving the people in the Show Low area through her flower business and she grew to love the people in the area. She especially enjoyed the kids from the surrounding schools in filling their needs for those special occasions and is remembered by many for doing so. After selling her business and property in Show Low she moved to Taylor in 1994. She is survived by two sons, Ray (Linda) West of Taylor and Reese (Shari) Loveless of Show Low and one daughter, Sharon Keith of Prescott; 12 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents Ray and Estella Jacobson Mills; husband Marion West, who was killed in World War II and husband Ralph Maurice Loveless; son, Gayle West; two daughters Carolyn West and Marian West Hunt; one great-granddaughter, Laken LaNae Harding; two sisters, Marjorie Ann Perkins and Virginia Hall and her uncle, Leroy Jacobson. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Monday July 9th at the Taylor Lovelake Chapel, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints with a visitation one hour prior to services at the church and from 6-8:00 Sunday July 8th at Owens Mortuary in Snowflake.. Burial will follow in the Show Low Cemetery. Owens Mortuary of Snowflake handled arrangements.
