Daenel Loney, 56, of Scottsdale, passed away November 11, 2007 in Show Low. Mrs. Loney, a retired Massage Therapist, was born May 14, 1951 in Columbus, OH. She grew up and attended school in Columbus, graduating in 1969. Following high school she married Robert Loney on May 10, 1976 in Los Angeles, CA. Following their marriage they made their home in Los Angeles and she was a homemaker and an owner of a Boutique. In 1980 they moved to Clearwater, FL, where she began working as an Image Consultant and this is where she and Robert raised their children. She returned to California briefly, before settling in Scottsdale in 1994. It was there that she began working as a self employed Massage Therapist. After the onset of her illness, she began to decrease her workload, but continued to be active in jazzercise, working in her yard and being with her friends. She was powerfully independent and an inspiration to many. She is survived by Robert Loney, of Scottsdale; 2 sons, Conrad R. Loney and Cooper M. Loney, both of Show Low; daughter, Ivy L. Loney, Show Low; 2 brothers, David Weinberger, Dublin, OH and Rick Schoby, Dayton, OH; sister, Jacqueline Zoller, Alabama. A Memorial Service will be held December 1, 2007 at Daenel's home in Scottsdale, Arizona. She will be laid to rest in Paradise Memorial Gardens.
