Marvin Lee Lewis, age 57, died Wednesday, May 15, 2008 at his home in Lakeside, Arizona of natural causes. He was born on October 17, 1950 in Los Angeles, California to the late John Ebert and June Adele (Bruce) Lewis. In his younger years, Marvin worked as a cook and chef. He later enlisted in The United States Navy and was a recipient of the National Defense Service Medal. He received his honorable discharge from the military in May of 1974. Most recently, Marvin worked as a Human Services Specialist for the State of Arizona in Show Low. Marvin's disposition was quiet and gentle and he was well like by all his co-wokers. His death comes as a great shock to them and they will miss him greatly. A Memorial Service will be held 2:00 P.M., Thursday, May 29, 2008 at Owens Mortuary - White Mountain Chapel, 320 N. 9th Street in Show Low. Inurnment at The National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona will be held at a later date.
