Sheila Priscilla Kotofskie passed peacefully, March 3 2009, after a brief, courageous battle with cancer. She was born in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, England, March 3, 1934 to Joseph Edwin Green and Elsie Margery May Brooks. She came to the United States as a young woman, yet proudly retained her British citizenship. Sheila met her soulmate, James, in Tuscon, and they were married in 1972. People commented what a perfect couple they were, truly destined for each other, a star-crossed match. She was a banker during most of her working career, affectionately known to her husband's students as "Mrs. K", she was a regular fixture at Catalina High School proms and Winterfests. She is survived by her loving husband of 37 years, James; a son, Steven and his wife Connie of Fountain, CO. In 2003 the couple retired to Show Low, AZ, their mountain chalet was known for its beautiful spring and summer flower gardens, one of Sheila's passions that was part of her English heritage. The world will miss her suave charm, her infectious earthy laugh, and her empathy for all sentient beings. Private services are planned.
