Mary Alice Knight

Mary Alice Knight, 66, long time resident of Woodruff passed away May 2, 2007 in Provo, Utah. Mary was born in Beaver, Utah on June 19, 1940 to Frank White and Alice Gale Farnsworth. After 5 boys her parents were elated to finally have a girl. She married Ferral Knight on July 12, 1961. They met while attending Southern Utah State College in Cedar City, Utah. After graduation in 1963 they moved to Holbrook where they both worked as teachers. In 1965 they moved to Woodruff where they still live to date. Mary also worked at the Petrified Forest National Park for many years. She was also an avid crafter and quilter. Mary was a lifelong member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Mary is survived by her husband, Ferral; their 8 children and their families, Mary Kaye (Jim, Mandy, Mathew and Chris) Irwin, Laurie Jones, Edith (Ron, Nikki, Brady, Gabri) Ulloa, Newel (Nola, Nick, Nicole) Knight, Jeff (Theresa, Kierra, Colin, Kelsey, Kourtney) Knight, Dyonne (Jorge, Seth) Pimiente, Galen (Shannon, Jade, Jesse, Allyson) Knight, Cory (Amanda, Emily, Nataly, Ethan, Rylee) Knight; 3 brothers, Gale, Dough and Bob Farnsworth. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Arlow and Clair Farnsworth and sister, Martha Ann Bell. Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 A.M. Saturday, May 12, 2007 at the Woodruff Chapel of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Visitation will be held from 7:00-8:30 P.M. Friday, May 11th at Owens Mortuary in Holbrook and from 9:00-10:00 A.M. Saturday at the Woodruff Chapel. In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Mary's favorite charity, The Perpetual Education Fund or to the Missionary Fund in her name.
