Thomas Varker Keams, age 55, passed away Monday, May 19, 2008 in Flagstaff, Arizona. Thomas was born August 29, 1952 in Keams Canyon, Arizona to the late Joe & Barbara Keams. Thomas graduated from Many Farms High School where he was a bullrider for the High School rodeo. He served in the National Guard in Fort Bliss, Texas. Thomas worked as a ranch hand for Bill Jeffers, and as a mechanic for various areas. He loved the outdoors and was an avid hunter. Thomas was a very handsome man who had alot of humor. He is survived by his wife of 17 years Linda Russell of Holbrook, AZ 3 daughters; Joyce (LeeRay) Belin of Holbrook, AZ, Shonda Keams and Krystal Keams both of Greasewood, AZ; 3 sons; Grant Keams of Shiprock, NM, David Keams of Gallup, NM, Shawn Keams of Winslow, AZ; 5 sisters Nellie Tyler of Page, AZ, Amy Begay of Lower Greasewood, AZ, Louis Lopez, of Sacramento, CA, Sharon Keams, of St Michaels, AZ, Mary Ann Nez,of Greasewood, AZ; 4 sons; Paul Keams of Page, AZ, Morris Keams of Tohatchi, NM,Lawrence Keams of Greasewood, AZ, Eugene Keams of Albuquerque, NM. He is preceded in death by 2 brothers; Kee Keams and Bahe Keams; sister Verna Dixon. Funeral Services will be held 10:00 AM Friday, May 23, 2008 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church 212 E. Arizona St. Holbrook, Arizona. Interment will be at the Holbrook Cemetery, Holbrook, Arizona.
