Robert Kay

Robert Kay, 73, passed away Tuesday, October 13, 2009 I Vernon, AZ. He was born June 19, 1936 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Darrell Henry Kay and Frances Lillian Fowler Kay. Robert was a very good father; a special, caring person who always helped others. He retired from the Glendale, Arizona Police Department. Robert is survived by his 3 children: Gary Robin (Debra Jean) Kay of Vernon, Arizona; Kathleen Davis of Harrison, Arkansas, Michael Dean (Connie) Kay of Prescott, Arizona; 9 grandchildren 8 great-grandchildren; and his brother, Richard "Dick" Kay, formerly of Salt Lake City, UT. He was preceded in death by his wife of 54 years, Joyce Meacham (Samuelson) Kay on July 7, 2009 and a brother, Norman Kay. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M., Tuesday, October 20, 2009 at Owens Livingston Mortuary - White Mountain Chapel, 320 N. 9th Street in Show Low, Arizona. The funeral service will begin at 1:00 P.M., Wednesday, October 21, 2009 at Owens Livingston Mortuary - with additional visitation 1 hour prior. He will be laid to rest along side his wife at the Show Low Cemetery.
