Kenneth Leroy Jones, age 60, passed away July 24, 2007 at his home in Vernon, Arizona with his family by his side. He was born in Albuquerque, New Mexico on October 30, 1946 to Wesley and Gwendolyn Jones. He was raised in Farmington. At the age of 19 he served a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Australia. He also served his country in the National Guard. Kenneth married Editha Frost in the Mesa Arizona Temple in 1968. He worked as a petroleum engineer for the BLM and loved working outdoors. Ken loved his children and grandchildren very much. Kenneth is survived by his wife Editha Frost Jones; son, Kenneth Tyson (Kelly) Jones; daughter, Carrie L. Jones; grandchildren, Alexandra Dee Jones and Braden Wesley Jones; sister, Marilyn (John) Golden. He was preceded in death by his parents, Wesley and Gwendolyn Jones and brother Robert Wesley Jones. Funeral Services will be held at 3:00 P.M. Saturday, July 28, 2007 at the Vernon Branch Chapel, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. A visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 P.M. Friday evening at the Church and one-hour prior to services. Interment will be in the Vernon Cemetery.
