John Wesley 'Jack' Johnson, age 80 passed away at his home in Taylor January 19, 2007. He was born March 7, 1926 in San Pedro, CA to John Ellis and Erma Ann Simkins Johnson. He served in the Navy and was a manager of a Feed Store. He has lived in Arizona for the past 19 years. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Peggie Ellsworth Johnson, 5 sons, Fred (Karen), Carl (Chrissy), Melvin (Beverly), Steven (Vicki), Wiley (Wylie Jo); one daughter, Sandra and a daughter-in-law, Sioux. He is also survived by a brother, Donald; 35 grandchildren and 57 great-grandhildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Ernest Duane, his oldest son, Daniel and a granddaughter, Rachel. Funeral services will be held Sat. January 27th at 10:00 A.M. at the Taylor Stake Center, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints with a visitation one hour prior at the church and from 6-8:00 P.M. Fri. Jan. 26th at Owens Mortuary in Snowflake. Interment will be in the Taylor Cemetery.
